The assessment cycle is a model that can be utilized to develop programing, enhance student learning, foster improvement, 和 implement 变化 within your unit. The cycle establishes a framework for feedback, evaluation, 和 enhancement. For more information on each step, select a portion of the cycle.
Establishing objectives begins with writing clear goals. Once the goals for the unit are in place, objectives provide specific observable 和 measurable steps to meet the goal.
映射 the unit's goals 和 objectives to the institution's goals 和 objectives ensures alignment as well as organizes the program creation around student learning objectives 和 the strategic plan.
Selecting 和/or designing measures allow us to evaluate student learning. There is a multitude of instruments to choose from depending upon the type of measure 和 types of items to be evaluated.
