Dr. 艾米K. Milligan is the Batten Endowed 副教授 of Jewish Studies and 女性's and Gender Studies and the director of the Institute for Jewish Studies and Interfaith Understanding. She is an ethnographer and folklorist who specializes in the study of small or marginalized Jewish communities with a concentration on the American South and Alabama. 她的作品关注身体的细微差别, 性别, 和性, while simultaneously exploring the intersections of memory, 文化, 和历史. 最终, her research brings forward the often overlooked voices of women, 小社区犹太人, and those who exist and thrive on cultural margins.
