The mission of the 法国 with 教学 Licensure program is to prepare students with the knowledge and skills needed to teach 法国 within the Pre-K through Grade 12 environment. This program is designed for prospective teachers and offers both curricular and extracurricular means to meet your goals. Through a broad range of offerings and opportunities, this program encourages students to work not only toward proficiency in the 法国 language, but to learn about the culture, 历史, 文学, 政治, and geography of the 法国-说话 world.

Secondary School Teachers, Except Special and Career/Technical Education
Teach students in one or more subjects, such as English, 数学, or 社会 studies at the secondary level in public or private schools. May be designated according to subject matter specialty.
Elementary School Teachers, Except Special Education
Teach students basic academic, 社会, and other formative skills in public or private schools at the elementary level.
Middle School Teachers, Except Special and Career/Technical Education
Teach students in one or more subjects in public or private schools at the middle, 中间, or junior high level, which falls between elementary and senior high school as defined by applicable laws and 规定.
Foreign Language and Literature Teachers, Postsecondary
Teach languages and 文学 courses in languages other than English. Includes teachers of American Sign Language (ASL). Includes both teachers primarily engaged in teaching and those who do a combination of teaching and research.

All students must apply for and be admitted into the approved foreign language teacher preparation program for 法国.
